Integrating Complementary Therapies In the Sheffield Area

We are a group of complementary therapists in and around Sheffield. We have come together to promote the use of complementary therapies as part of an integrated health care service by:

• Producing information about the benefits of complementary therapies
• Putting on workshops, seminars, tasters sessions and continuing professional development programmes
• Providing opportunities for health care professionals, complementary therapists, patients and the public to come together
• Producing information to help health care professionals, patients and the public find local complementary therapy practitioners and make informed choices when seeking therapy
• Setting up a website as a point of contact
• Promoting and encouraging pilot projects and studies which further our aim of integrating mainstream and complementary services
• Establishing a register of local practitioners
