Massage therapist with an interest in fibromyalgia
Clare has a background in public sector management where she worked to develop teams and individuals to fulfil their potential. She was drawn to massage therapy as a way of helping herself and other people manage the emotional and physical stress they experience through busy jobs and lives.
Influenced by her practice of meditation, yoga and qi gong she is currently doing further training in Rhythm Mobility. This combines gentle movement, rocking and passive stretches with massage to help joints and muscles stretch and mobilise. She has experience of working with people with fibromyalgia
She enjoys working with touch and movement, not only to help the body relax and revive but also to calm the chatter of the mind and help people become more aware of their bodies and emotions.
Clare trained at Sheffield Centre for Massage Training and qualified in 2008. She is a Registered Practitioner of the Massage Training Institute, a national body specialising in holistic massage, and adheres to their Code of Ethics. CNHC registered and fully insured.
